the voices in my head pounceto help the abusers
to scream
to shout
the din is overwhelming.
what's the trigger
with "trigger" as the operative word,
the action word
the hammer and the metal and the bang.
it's like having them all living
in my head
in my brain
fighting for the last word.
they're out to make me wrong
they're out to make me the bad guy
with the black hat and the black horse
and the hammer and the metal and the bang bang.
they want to win this unwinnable war called life
they don't want to stop
they want to pounce
pull
damage
destroy
bully
shame.
